Our Story
Twenty Two Arrows of Hope was founded in memory of Cordy Michael Gaeta, a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran who served his country for twenty‑two years, retiring with the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Cordy embodied courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment to his fellow service members. After returning to civilian life, he faced the invisible wounds of war — struggles that many veterans carry long after their service ends. On May 16, 2025, Cordy’s battle came to an end, leaving behind a legacy of honor and sacrifice.
His son, Vincent, only eleven years old at the time, found strength in his father’s memory and his love for archery. Through his passion, Vincent along with his sister Arabella envisioned continuing their father’s mission — to support service members and families coping with PTSD and the challenges of reintegration. From that vision, Twenty Two Arrows of Hope was born.
Our organization exists to bring awareness to veteran suicide and to create an environment where families can heal together. We believe that community connection is vital — that every veteran’s life holds immeasurable value, and every family deserves support through grief and recovery. By offering scholarships for activities and family programs, we aim to draw families closer, foster resilience, and remind them that their loved ones’ service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Twenty Two Arrows of Hope stands as a symbol of courage, compassion, and continuity — twenty arrows pointing toward hope, healing, and unity.
